Name the niece who broke the fast of her mama
In Jain tradition, the niece who broke the fast of her maternal uncle (mama) is known as Chandana (also called Vasumati). She is famous for breaking the fast of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara, after he completed 5 months and 25 days of continuous fasting (known as 'Aayambil Tapasya'). She offered him sugarcane juice (Ikshu Ras) which fulfilled his vow of receiving food only under specific conditions. Chandana is highly revered in Jainism for her role in this important event.
