Jain mantra for anxiety
In Jainism, mantras are used for spiritual upliftment, concentration, and inner peace. The most revered and universal mantra in Jainism is the Namokar Mantra (also called the Navkar Mantra). Reciting or meditating on this mantra is believed to calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and bring about spiritual tranquility.
Namokar Mantra:
णमो अरिहंताणं णमो सिद्धाणं णमो आयरियाणं णमो उवज्झायाणं णमो लोए सव्व साहूणं
Transliteration: Namo Arihantāṇam Namo Siddhāṇam Namo Ayariyāṇam Namo Uvajjhāyāṇam Namo Loe Savva Sāhūṇam
Meaning: I bow to Arihants (the enlightened beings), I bow to Siddhas (the liberated souls), I bow to Acharyas (the spiritual leaders), I bow to Upadhyayas (the teachers), I bow to all Sadhus (the saints) in the world.
Chanting this mantra with devotion and mindfulness can help ease anxiety and bring peace, as it focuses the mind on the qualities of liberated and virtuous beings, fostering detachment from worldly concerns and calming the mind.
