I want to know all the mantras with their text along with 5he nam okra mantra

    2 hrs ago 1

    Answer

The Namokar Mantra (also called Navkar Mantra or Namaskār Mantra) is the most important and universal mantra in Jain Dharma.

Here is the commonly recited text:

    णमो अरिहंताणं
    णमो सिद्धाणं
    णमो आयरियाणं
    णमो उवज्झायाणं
    णमो लोए सव्व साहूणं

    एसो पंच णमोक्कारो
    सव्व पावप्पणासणो
    मंगलाणं च सव्वेसिं
    पढमं हवइ मंगलं

    Meaning

    • णमो अरिहंताणं — I bow to the Arihants, the enlightened beings who have conquered inner enemies.
    • णमो सिद्धाणं — I bow to the Siddhas, liberated souls who have attained moksha.
    • णमो आयरियाणं — I bow to the Acharyas, the spiritual heads of the Jain Sangh.
    • णमो उवज्झायाणं — I bow to the Upadhyayas, the spiritual teachers.
    • णमो लोए सव्व साहूणं — I bow to all Sadhus and Sadhvis in the world.

    The last four lines mean:

    • This fivefold salutation destroys all sins.
    • Among all auspicious things, this is the foremost auspicious one.

    Spiritual Understanding

The Namokar Mantra does not ask for worldly things. It is a mantra of humility, purity, and reverence. It bows to the highest spiritual qualities, not to a particular individual.

In Jain Dharma, this mantra reminds us to respect:

    • Right faith
    • Right knowledge
    • Right conduct
    • Renunciation
    • Liberation

    Other Important Jain Mantras

Below are some commonly recited Jain mantras. Text may vary slightly by tradition and pronunciation.

    1. Arihant Mantra

    ॐ अर्हं नमः

Meaning: I bow to the Arihant Bhagwan.

    2. Siddha Mantra

    ॐ सिद्धेभ्यो नमः

Meaning: I bow to the Siddhas, the liberated souls.

    3. Panch Parmeshthi Mantra

    अरिहंतो भगवंतो
    सिद्धो भगवंतो
    आयरिया भगवंतो
    उवज्झाया भगवंतो
    साहू भगवंतो

Meaning: Reverence to Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and Sadhus.

    4. Mangalam Mantra

Meaning: Arihants, Siddhas, Sadhus, and the Dharma taught by Kevalis are auspicious, supreme in the world, and worthy of refuge.

    5. Uvasaggaharam Stotra Opening Mantra

    उवसग्गहरं पासं
    पासं वंदामि कम्मघणमुक्कं
    विसहरविसणिण्णासं
    मंगलकल्लाणआवासं

Meaning: I bow to Bhagwan Parshvanath, remover of obstacles, free from karmic bondage, destroyer of poison-like suffering, and abode of auspiciousness.

    Important Note

There are many Jain stotras, sutras, and prayers, such as:

    • Bhaktamar Stotra
    • Uvasaggaharam Stotra
    • Logassa Sutra
    • Iriyavahiya Sutra
    • Tass Uttari Sutra
    • Khamemi Savva Jive Sutra
    • Micchami Dukkadam prayer
    • Jain Pratikraman Sutras

But I should not claim to provide “all mantras” unless the exact tradition and version are clear, because Jain texts differ across Śvetāmbara, Digambara, Sthānakavāsī, Terāpanth, and other traditions.

    Takeaway

The Namokar Mantra is the supreme Jain mantra. It teaches humility, reverence, purification of karma, and devotion to the highest spiritual souls: Arihant, Siddha, Acharya, Upadhyaya, and Sadhu.
