    • Birth: Vasupujya Bhagwan was born in Champapuri.
    • Parents: His father was King Vasupujya and his mother was Queen Jaya Devi.
    • Symbol: His lanchhan is the buffalo.
    • Color: He is traditionally described as red-colored.
    • Renunciation: From a young age, he had deep detachment from worldly pleasures.
    • Diksha: He renounced worldly life and accepted monkhood.
    • Kevalgnan: Through deep tapa, self-discipline, and meditation, he destroyed the ghati karmas and attained Kevalgnan, perfect knowledge.
    • Moksha: Vasupujya Bhagwan attained Nirvana/Moksha at Champapuri.

    Vasupujya Bhagwan lived in royal surroundings, but his inner nature was completely free from attachment. Even while surrounded by wealth, power, and comfort, he understood that worldly pleasures are temporary and bound with karma.
