    what happens in moksha?

    yesterday 2

    Answer

In Jain Dharma, moksha means complete liberation of the soul from all karma, birth, death, suffering, and worldly bondage.

    When a soul attains moksha:

    • All karmas are completely destroyed.
    • The soul is freed from the cycle of birth and death.
    • It rises to the top of the universe, called Siddhashila.
    • It remains there forever as a Siddha, a liberated soul.
    • It experiences infinite knowledge, infinite perception, infinite bliss, and infinite energy.

    Explanation

According to Jain philosophy, the soul is naturally pure, conscious, and full of infinite qualities. But because of karma, it becomes bound in the cycle of worldly existence.

When all karma is removed through right faith, right knowledge, right conduct, and deep spiritual purification, the soul becomes completely free. It no longer takes birth in any body and is no longer affected by pain, attachment, anger, ego, greed, or ignorance.

The liberated soul does not become God in the sense of a creator. In Jain Dharma, a liberated soul becomes a Siddha — perfect, pure, independent, and eternally blissful.

    Spiritual Understanding

Moksha is the highest goal of Jain Dharma. It is not a place of pleasure like heaven. Heaven is still part of samsara, where karmas remain and rebirth continues.

Moksha is beyond all worldly happiness and suffering. It is the soul’s natural state of complete purity, peace, and freedom.

    Takeaway

In moksha, the soul becomes forever free, all-knowing, blissful, and untouched by karma. It remains eternally at Siddhashila as a perfected soul, a Siddha.
