According to Jain tradition, Munisuvrat Swami Bhagwan, the 20th Tirthankara, took birth in Rajgriha (present-day Rajgir) in the state of Bihar, India. His father was King Sumitra and his mother was Queen Padmavati. Rajgriha is considered a significant pilgrimage site for Jains due to its association with Munisuvrat Swami.
