After masakshman how to eat parna

    2 hrs ago 2

    Answer

After Masakshaman tapasya, Parna should be done very carefully, slowly, and with light, suitable food.

    Usually, Parna is done with:

    • Boiled water first
    • Then a small quantity of simple, light food
    • Food that is easy to digest
    • Very limited quantity at the beginning

Do not eat heavy, oily, spicy, fried, or large amounts of food immediately after Masakshaman.

    Explanation

Masakshaman means fasting continuously for about one month. After such a long tapasya, the body becomes very sensitive, so Parna should be gradual and disciplined.

    A common approach is:

    • Begin with warm or normal boiled water.
    • Take food in a very small quantity.
    • Eat slowly and calmly.
    • Avoid overeating, even if you feel hungry.
    • Follow the guidance of elders, guru bhagwant, and experienced people.

Suitable foods may include very simple items such as light liquid food or soft, easily digestible food, according to your tradition and health condition.

    Spiritual Understanding

In Jain Dharma, Parna is not only “breaking a fast.” It is also a continuation of discipline, awareness, and humility. The same self-control maintained during tapasya should continue during Parna.

    Takeaway

After Masakshaman, do Parna with boiled water first, light food, small quantity, and full awareness. Also, please take guidance from your guru bhagwant and a qualified doctor, because health safety is very important after such a long fast.
