Bija uday na last yugpradhan kon

    12 months ago 66

Jainism teaches that time is cyclical, divided into two parts: Utsarpini (ascending half-cycle) and Avasarpini (descending half-cycle). Each half-cycle consists of six eras (aras or yugas). The concept of "Bija Uday" refers to the process of new cycles beginning or the rise of karma seeds, but your question seems to relate to the Yugpradhan (dominant figure or leader) of the last era within a cycle.

According to Jain tradition, in the Avasarpini (the current descending cycle), the last era (6th Ara) is called "Dusham Dushama" — a time of extreme sorrow when there is no religion, no Tirthankaras, and no spiritual guidance. In this era, there is no Yugpradhan—no Tirthankara, Chakravarti, or any spiritually eminent leader is born. All spiritual teachings are lost, and humanity experiences great suffering.

The last Yugpradhan or spiritually significant leader in the current Avasarpini cycle was Jambu Swami, who was the last Kevali (omniscient being) after Lord Mahavira (the 24th Tirthankara). After him, there are no more Kevalis, and gradually, the world enters the era without spiritual leaders.

So, in summary: In the last era (6th Ara) of the current Avasarpini, there is no Yugpradhan. The last Kevali of this cycle was Jambu Swami.
