In Jainism, the Navapad (also known as Navapada or Navakar) refers to the nine supreme entities or virtues that are venerated in the Navkar Mantra (Namokar Mantra), which is the most important prayer in Jainism. The Navapads are:

    1. Arihant – Enlightened beings who have conquered inner passions.
    2. Siddha – Liberated souls, free from the cycle of birth and death.
    3. Acharya – Head monks who guide the religious order.
    4. Upadhyaya – Preceptors or teachers of Jain scriptures.
    5. Sadhu/Sadhvi – Monks and nuns who have renounced worldly life.
    6. Darshan – Right perception or faith.
    7. Gyan – Right knowledge.
    8. Charitra – Right conduct.
    9. Tapa – Austerity or penance.

These nine are the foundation of reverence in Jain prayer and philosophy, as reflected in the Navkar Mantra.
