Where is king shrenik now
According to Jain tradition, King Shrenik (also known as Bimbisara) was a devoted follower of Lord Mahavira. Jain scriptures narrate that King Shrenik, due to some remnants of his karmas, could not attain liberation (moksha) in his lifetime despite his devotion and meritorious deeds.
As per Jain texts, particularly the Uttaradhyayana Sutra and commentaries by Jain Acharyas, it is believed that King Shrenik was reborn as a celestial being (deva) in the Sarvarthasiddhi Vimana, a heavenly abode in the upper world. It is also mentioned that in the future, after exhausting his lifespan in heaven, King Shrenik will be reborn as a human and will attain liberation (moksha) as a Kevali named King Megha in the next era.
Thus, in the context of Jain belief, King Shrenik is currently in the Sarvarthasiddhi Vimana, awaiting his future rebirth and ultimate liberation.
