In Jain tradition, Shushima (also spelled Shushma or Sushim) is known as one of the sons of King Shrenik (also known as Bimbisara) and Queen Chelna of Magadha. The most well-known brother of Shushima is Kunika, who later became King Ajatashatru (Kunika in Jain texts). Ajatashatru (Kunika) is a prominent figure in Jain literature and is often mentioned in stories related to Lord Mahavira.
