In Jainism, the "Ten Dharmas" (Das Lakshana Dharma) are celebrated especially during the Paryushan Parva and the Das Lakshana Parva, primarily by the Digambar sect. These ten virtues are contemplated and practiced over a period of ten days, with each day dedicated to one virtue. Here are the ten dharmas, along with their order as observed during Das Lakshana Parva:

    1. Uttam Kshama (Supreme Forgiveness)

Practice of forgiveness, tolerance, and letting go of anger.

    1. Uttam Mardava (Supreme Humility)

    Cultivating humility and overcoming pride.

    1. Uttam Arjava (Supreme Straightforwardness/Honesty)

Maintaining honesty and simplicity in thoughts, words, and actions.

    1. Uttam Shauch (Supreme Contentment/Purity)

Practicing contentment and purity of mind.

    1. Uttam Satya (Supreme Truthfulness)

Commitment to truth in every aspect of life.

    1. Uttam Sanyam (Supreme Self-restraint)

Exercising self-control over desires and senses.

    1. Uttam Tap (Supreme Austerity/Penance)

Undertaking austerities and penance for spiritual upliftment.

    1. Uttam Tyag (Supreme Renunciation)

Letting go of attachments and practicing charity.

    1. Uttam Akinchanya (Supreme Non-possessiveness)

Non-attachment to material possessions and inner detachment.

    1. Uttam Brahmacharya (Supreme Celibacy/Chastity)

    Observing celibacy and controlling passions.

    • Day 4: Uttam Shauch
    • Day 5: Uttam Satya
