According to Jainism, beings who are reborn in the seven hells (Naraka) are not humans, but are called naraki (hellish beings). Once a soul is born in a Naraka, it exists there as a hellish being, not as a human. The lifespan of a being in the seventh hell (Mahātamaprabha) is described as extremely long in Jain scriptures.

Specifically, in Jain cosmology, it is stated that the minimum lifespan in the seventh hell is 22 Sagaropama years and the maximum is 33 Sagaropama years. A "Sagaropama" is an immeasurably long period of time, far beyond human comprehension (one Sagaropama is said to be billions of years).

Therefore, a human cannot be alive in the seventh hell; only hellish beings exist there, and their lifespan is from 22 to 33 Sagaropama years as per Jain texts.
