Answer
You can make a Jain Dharma project model with two parts:
- 9th Aachera: Chandra-Surya Avtaran
- 10th Aachera: Tejoleshya Upsarg
I cannot provide actual pictures here, but I can guide you on what pictures/scenes to draw or make in your model, and I can give you a short speech for your project.
Model Ideas
1. 9th Aachera – Chandra-Surya Avtaran
For this part of the model, you can show:
- A peaceful sky scene.
- Moon and Sun shown respectfully as celestial beings.
- Divine atmosphere with clouds, stars, and light.
- A Jain saint or holy setting below, showing devotion and spiritual purity.
How to make it:
- Use blue chart paper for the sky.
- Make the Sun using yellow and orange paper.
- Make the Moon using silver or white paper.
- Use cotton for clouds.
- Use golden paper or glitter carefully to show divine light.
2. 10th Aachera – Tejoleshya Upsarg
For this part of the model, you can show:
- Bhagwan Mahavir or a Jain saint standing or sitting in deep meditation.
- A bright fiery energy or heat-like effect shown around him as the upsarg.
- The saint remains calm, peaceful, and unaffected.
- This shows the power of samata, patience, and inner strength.
How to make it:
- Make a meditating figure using clay, cardboard, or printed drawing.
- Use red, orange, and yellow paper strips around the figure to show tejoleshya.
- Keep the face peaceful and calm.
- Write words like Samata, Kshama, Tap, and Ahimsa around the model.
Speech for the Project
Respected teachers and my dear friends,
Jai Jinendra.
Today I am presenting my Jain Dharma project on the 9th and 10th Aachera.
The 9th Aachera is Chandra-Surya Avtaran. In this scene, we learn about the divine and spiritual atmosphere connected with Jain tradition. The Sun and Moon represent brightness, calmness, discipline, and the order of the universe. This part of the model reminds us that Jain Dharma teaches us to live with purity, peace, and awareness.
The 10th Aachera is Tejoleshya Upsarg. In this scene, we see a great upsarg, or hardship. Even during suffering and disturbance, the holy soul remains calm in meditation. This teaches us the importance of samata, meaning equanimity. A true follower of Jain Dharma does not react with anger or fear, but remains peaceful, forgiving, and spiritually strong.
Through this project, I learned that Jain Dharma teaches us to face difficulties with patience, follow ahimsa, and keep our soul pure. The stories of Aachera inspire us to control anger, remain calm, and move forward on the path of moksha.
Thank you.
Takeaway
Your model should clearly show two messages:
- Chandra-Surya Avtaran: Divine brightness, peace, and purity.
- Tejoleshya Upsarg: Calmness and spiritual strength during hardship.
Jai Jinendra.
