Answer

The next Tirthankar of the coming time cycle will be Shri Padmanabh Swami.

He will be the 1st Tirthankar of the next Utsarpini Kāl.

Explanation

In Jain Dharma, we are currently in the Avasarpini Kāl — the descending half-cycle of time. The present set of 24 Tirthankars ended with Bhagwan Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankar of this time cycle.

In the next ascending half-cycle, called Utsarpini Kāl, there will again be 24 Tirthankars. The first among them will be:

• Shri Padmanabh Swami

Spiritual Understanding

Tirthankars appear to re-establish the path of liberation — right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct. Remembering them inspires us to follow ahimsa, self-discipline, detachment, and the path toward moksha.

Takeaway

The next Tirthankar will be Shri Padmanabh Swami, the first Tirthankar of the next Utsarpini time cycle.
