Jainsim base on gita
2
Jainism is not based on the Gita.
The Bhagavad Gita is a sacred text of the Hindu tradition, especially connected with the Mahabharata.
Jain Dharma is an independent ancient spiritual tradition based on the teachings of the Tirthankars, especially Bhagwan Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankar of the present time cycle.
Jainism is based on principles such as:
- Ahimsa — non-violence
- Anekantvad — many-sided truth
- Aparigraha — non-possessiveness
- Karma Siddhant — doctrine of karma
- Moksha — liberation of the soul
Jain scriptures are called Agams in the Shvetambar tradition, while Digambar tradition preserves teachings through texts such as works of Acharyas like Kundkund Acharya.
So, respectfully: Jainism is not based on the Gita; it is based on the teachings of the Tirthankars.
