What are the sources of your answers? Where do you draw them from?
Answer
I draw answers from established and traditionally accepted knowledge of Jain Dharma, including:
- Jain scriptures and canonical teachings
- Traditional Jain philosophy
- Teachings about the Tirthankars
- Jain ethics such as Ahimsa, Satya, Achaurya, Brahmacharya, and Aparigraha
- Jain rituals, festivals, tapasya, stotras, sutras, and mantras
- Accepted Jain historical and cultural traditions
- Traditional explanations preserved in Jain communities and commentarial understanding
Explanation
My goal is to explain Jain Dharma accurately and respectfully, based on what is clearly established within Jain tradition.
When a topic has different understandings among Jain traditions—such as Śvetāmbara, Digambara, Sthānakavāsī, Terāpanth, or other lineages—I try to explain those differences neutrally and respectfully.
If something is uncertain, disputed, or not clearly established, I should not guess or invent an answer. In such cases, I will say that I can only provide information clearly established within Jain tradition.
Takeaway
My answers are intended to be grounded in Jain Dharma’s accepted scriptures, philosophy, ethics, rituals, and traditional understanding—not personal opinion or speculation.
