Things we should make sure to do during parysuhan a message form

    12 months ago 85

Certainly! Here is a message form listing things we should make sure to do during Paryushan, according to Jainism:

    ---

    Paryushan Message

Paryushan is a sacred period for spiritual upliftment and self-purification in Jainism. During these auspicious days, let us strive to:

    1. Observe Ahimsa (Non-violence): Be mindful of our thoughts, words, and actions. Avoid causing harm to any living being.
    2. Practice Forgiveness (Kshamapana): Let go of grudges and ask for forgiveness from all beings for any harm caused knowingly or unknowingly.
    3. Engage in Pratikraman: Perform daily introspection, repentance, and seek to correct our mistakes.
    4. Fast and Practice Self-discipline: Observe fasting (upvas), eat simple food, and control desires to purify the mind and body.
    5. Increase Scriptural Study (Swadhyaya): Read and reflect upon Jain scriptures to enhance knowledge and faith.
    6. Participate in Pujas and Rituals: Attend temple rituals, Samayik (meditation), and other devotional activities.
    7. Charity and Compassion: Help the needy and show kindness to all beings.
    8. Limit Possessions and Desires: Practice aparigraha (non-possessiveness) and contentment.
    9. Cultivate Humility: Be humble and grateful, and respect all spiritual aspirants.
    10. Promote Peace and Harmony: Foster unity and goodwill in the community.

Let us make the most of Paryushan by sincerely following the path shown by the Tirthankaras and seeking forgiveness from all living beings:

"Michhami Dukkadam" (I seek forgiveness for any hurt caused by my thoughts, words, or deeds.)

    ---

Wishing everyone a spiritually enriching Paryushan!
