Answer

Bafna is commonly known as a Jain surname, especially found among Śvetāmbara Jains and Jain communities from Rajasthan, Gujarat, and nearby regions.

Explanation

The surname Bafna is generally associated with Jain merchant communities. However, a surname alone does not always prove a person’s religion, because families may have different histories or may follow different traditions today.

Takeaway

Traditionally, Bafna is associated with Jain Dharma, but an individual person’s religion should be confirmed from that person or family directly.
