TODAY STHANKVASI PAYUSHAN START DATE

In Jainism, the Sthanakvasi sect typically observes Paryushan (also known as Paryushan Parva) according to the Shwetambar tradition. For Shwetambar Jains (which includes Sthanakvasis), Paryushan usually begins on the 12th day (Dvadasi) of the waning phase of the month of Shravan and lasts for 8 days.

In 2024, the Sthanakvasi Paryushan is expected to start on 29th August 2024 and end on 5th September 2024 with Samvatsari (the day of forgiveness).
