Who wrote sutra ?
In Jainism, the term "Sutra" refers to concise scriptures or aphorisms that convey spiritual teachings. The Jain Sutras were composed by ancient Jain sages called Tirthankaras and their learned disciples.
For example, the fundamental Jain Agamas (scriptures) include Sutras compiled by the Ganadharas (chief disciples) of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara. Lord Mahavira is regarded as the main source of the current Jain teachings and his disciples helped write down his sermons in sutra form.
So, the Sutras in Jainism were written by the enlightened Tirthankaras and their disciples to preserve and share the path of liberation. The exact authorship varies depending on the specific Sutra and Jain tradition (Digambara or Shwetambara).
If you want to know about any specific Sutra, I can provide details accordingly.
