distance between bharat shetra nd mahvidya shetra
I assume you mean “Bharata Kshetra” and “Mahāvideha Kshetra” of Jambudvīpa.
- They are adjacent. The boundary between them is the Himavān (Himālaya) mountain range.
- So there is no gap “between” them—the north edge of Bharata Kshetra meets the south edge of Mahāvideha Kshetra at Himavān itself.
- In traditional Jain cosmography, if one speaks of a “distance,” it would just be the thickness of the Himavān range that separates the two belts. (Scriptures describe the mountain ranges as the dividing lines; there isn’t an empty space between the kshetras.)
Note: Both Śvetāmbara and Digambara traditions agree on this adjacency and the Himavān boundary.
