Tattvartha Sutra (Tattvarthādhigama) by Acharya Umāsvāti. It clearly lists all 12 types of Tap: 6 external (bahya) and 6 internal (abhyantara). Both Śvetāmbara and Digambara traditions accept this text.

You can also find the list explained in Uttarādhyayana Sūtra and, for lay followers, in Ratnakaraṇḍa Śrāvakācāra.
