• Śvetāmbara reckoning: 5th āra starts about 3 years 8½ months after Mahāvīr’s nirvāṇa (traditionally 527 BCE). End of the 5th āra is therefore around year 20,478 CE. That leaves about 18,453 years from 2025.
• Digambara reckoning: using their date for Mahāvīr’s nirvāṇa (468 BCE), the 5th āra ends around 20,537 CE. That leaves about 18,512 years from 2025.
