In Jainism, the Navkar Mantra (also known as Namokar Mantra or Namaskar Mantra) is not attributed to a single creator or author. It is considered an eternal, primordial mantra (Anadi Siddh Mantra), existing since infinite time. Jain tradition holds that the mantra is a fundamental prayer that pays respect to the five supreme beings: Arihantas, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and all Sadhus (monks). Rather than being composed by a particular person, the Navkar Mantra has been revealed by the Tirthankaras for the spiritual upliftment of souls. It is regarded as the most important and universal prayer in Jainism, transcending sects and personal deities.
