Ladla sabdh meaning
“Lāḍlā śabd” (लाड़ला शब्द / લાડલો શબ્દ) — simple meaning:
- Lāḍlā = beloved, dearmost, cherished.
- Śabd = word/term.
In Jain bhakti, devotees lovingly address the Tirthankaras and Gurus as “Lāḍlā” (e.g., “Lāḍlā Mahāvīr Prabhu”), to express deep respect and affection. This is devotional language; it does not ascribe worldly attachment (rāga) to the Vītarāga Lords. Both Śvetāmbara and Digambara traditions use such affectionate epithets in stavans and prayers; there is no doctrinal difference in the basic meaning.
