Fofad and nagarvelsu meaning
- Nagarvel: In Gujarati, “nagarvel” means the betel-vine leaf (Piper betle). In some local Jain pooja customs, a clean betel leaf may be placed under a kalash or used as a leaf-base, but it is not scripturally mandatory and practices vary by community.
- Fofad: I don’t find “fofad” as a standard Jain ritual term or item in authentic Jain references. Sorry, I can only answer questions related to Jainism.
