Short answer: Shauch is with the first three. The traditional order is: 1) Uttam Kṣamā, 2) Uttam Mārdava, 3) Uttam Ārjava, 4) Uttam Shauch, 5) Uttam Satya, then 6) Saṃyam, 7) Tap, 8) Tyāg, 9) Akinchan, 10) Brahmacharya.

How it’s grouped

• The first four—Kṣamā, Mārdava, Ārjava, Shauch—are taught as primarily inner dispositions (bhāva-dharma).
• Satya comes next (5th), followed by the remaining five virtues that emphasize restraint, austerity, and renunciation.

Festival sequence (Digambar Das Lakshan Parva)

• Day 4 is Shauch; Day 5 is Satya. So Shauch is placed before Satya, not paired with it.
