Which God to pray by people born on ekadshi
In Jain Dharma, there is no concept of choosing a “God” based on your birth tithi like Ekādashi (Agyārās). Every Jain—regardless of birth day—offers devotion to the Panch Parameṣṭhi:
- Arihant
- Siddha
- Ācārya
- Upādhyāya
- Sādhu
What to do on Ekādashi (Agyārās):
- Recite the Navkār (Namokār) Mantra with bhāva.
- If possible, observe upavās or āyambil, keep samyak vrat, and do pratikraman.
- Meditate on any Tīrthaṅkar (e.g., Ṛṣabhdev, Pārśvanāth, Mahāvīr) as per your devotion—the choice is personal, not fixed by tithi.
Key point: Jain worship is of virtues and the path to moksha, not astrology. The safest, most universal prayer is the Navkār Mantra.
