Bhagwan Mahavir came for Diksha in the palanquin named “Chandraprabha” (Śivikā‑vimāna). This is explicitly stated in the Śvetāmbara Kalpasūtra tradition; Digambara narratives also describe the Diksha procession in a palanquin and do not present a different name.
