Bhagwan Naminath (21st Tirthankar) attained Nirvana (moksha) at Shri Sammed Shikharji (Parasnath Hill, Jharkhand).

Place: Sammed Shikharji. Both Digambar and Shwetambar traditions agree on this sacred location.
Tithi: Many Jain texts mention Vaishakh Krishna Dashami (dark 10th of Vaishakh). Specific calendric details can vary by granth/sect, but the place is the same.
Essence: Nirvana means complete liberation from birth and death; all karmas are utterly shed and the soul abides forever in Siddha-shila.
