Is christmas a fun festival
I’m here to guide only from a Jain Dharma perspective.
Jainism does not evaluate non‑Jain festivals like Christmas. From the Jain view, any celebration—of any kind—should follow:
- Ahimsa (non‑violence): no harm to any living beings; avoid fireworks, meat, eggs, and alcohol.
- Aparigraha (non‑possessiveness): keep it simple; avoid waste and excess gifting.
- Maitri and Daan (friendliness and charity): show compassion, help the needy, and practice restraint.
