“Sāta hai?” is a common Marwari/Oswal Jain way of asking “All well?”

A simple, correct reply is:

• “Sāta hai.” (All is well.)
• You can also say, “Jai Jinendra — sāṭā hai.” to keep the traditional Jain greeting.

Note: “Michhami Dukkadam” is used for seeking forgiveness (especially around Paryushan) and is not a routine reply to “sāta hai.”
