Here is the Shwetambar version of a central Jain prayer, the Navkar Mantra (Namokar Mantra). I’ll give the original text, a simple meaning, and note the Digambar/Shwetambar nuances.

    Navkar Mantra (Shwetambar tradition)

    • Original text (part of the Namokar Mantra as recited in Shwetambar temples):
Namo Arihantānaṁ Namo Siddhānaṁ Namo Aṇḍaṇāṁ Namo Ayariyānaṁ Namo Uvajjhāyaānaṁ Namo Loe Savva sāhanāṁ (and the final homage to all Tirthankaras)

    • Meaning (arth, simple):
I bow to the Arihants (enlightened beings who have conquered inner passions), I bow to the Siddhas (liberated souls), I bow to the Sādhu (monks) who have attained renunciation, I bow to the Śrāvakas (monastic order) who follow the path, I bow to the teachers (spiritual guides) who show the path, I bow to all those who support the path and all who uphold the Jain tradition.
    • Note on tradition:
The core meaning is shared, but exact wording, order, and inclusions can vary slightly between Digambar and Shwetambar communities. The Shwetambar recitation above follows the commonly used form in many temples; the Digambar variant may differ in line endings or titles, while preserving the same devotional aim.

If you’d like, I can also provide:

    • A Digambar version of Navkar Mantra for comparison
    • A brief, explicit explanation of each line’s deeper Jain significance
    • Another common Shwetambar stotra with its original text and meaning
