According to Jainism, after a Tirthankar Bhagwan attains nirvana (liberation), they are freed from the cycle of birth and death (samsara). At the end of their human life, having destroyed all karmas, they achieve moksha. Upon attaining moksha, the soul of the Tirthankar rises to the top of the universe (Siddhashila), where it resides eternally as a siddha—a liberated, pure soul with infinite knowledge (kevala jnana), bliss, and no further rebirth.

Tirthankaras, like all liberated souls, do not reincarnate or return to the worldly cycle. They remain in Siddhashila, beyond all physical and karmic limitations, experiencing eternal peace and bliss.
