Can we eat after samvatsiri pratikaman
Yes. After completing Samvatsari Pratikraman, you may eat, but with customary timings and vows in mind.
- Common practice: Samvatsari Pratikraman is observed after sunset on the last day. After finishing, many follow the usual Navkarsi rule (eat 48 minutes after sunrise) and break upvas the next morning, not immediately after the ritual. In other words, you resume eating in the morning after Navkarsi, with meals planned for daylight hours. You would typically observe the next day’s Parignan/Parana timing as prescribed by your sangh. - If you are doing upvas or chovihar/tivihar vows, you continue to follow those vows, and only resume normal eating after the designated window. The precise windows (and any local exceptions) are guided by your guru, sangh, and sect (Shvetambar or Digambar). ( jainknowledge.com)

Note: practices can vary between Shvetambar and Digambar traditions and by local sangh. If you have a specific tradition, follow your acharya’s guidance.
