Was Gautam Buddha a jaim scholar
Gautam Buddha was not a Jain scholar. He was the founder of Buddhism, a distinct religious tradition that arose in ancient India. However, there are some historical connections between Jainism and Buddhism, as both religions emerged around the same time and in the same region, and both teach principles such as non-violence (ahimsa) and renunciation.
According to Jain tradition, Gautam Buddha was a contemporary of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. While there may have been philosophical exchanges and debates between followers of both traditions, Gautam Buddha is not considered a Jain scholar or teacher within Jainism. Each tradition maintains its own scriptures, philosophies, and spiritual leaders.
