Santikaram Sutra (English)

What it is:

• A short stotra (hymn) venerating Shantinath (Santinätha), the Jain Tirthankara of peace. It is recited as a protective, peace-bestowing prayer and is commonly used in Shwetambar liturgy. The verses invoke deities, yakshas/yakshinis, and guardians, and praise Shantinath’s refuge, peace, and blessings. There are slight text and order differences between Digambar and Shwetambar manuscripts, but the essential message remains the same: seeking peace, protection, and spiritual merit through reverence to Shantinath.
