Khammeh Avrahame means
Khammeh Avrahame is the Khamemi Savve Jive Sutra in Jain tradition. Its core meaning is: I forgive all living beings.
Its four parts (as found in the traditional prayer) mean:
- Khamemi Savve Jive: I forgive all creatures.
- Savve Jiva Khamantu Me: May all living beings forgive me.
- Mitti Me Savva Bhuyesu: I have friendship with all beings.
- Veram Majjhham Na Kenai: I have no enmity with anyone.
Notes:
- This is recited as a expression of forgiveness (kshama) and non-violence (ahimsa) in Jain practice.
- Spelling and wording can vary slightly between Digambar and Shwetambar communities, but the essential meaning remains the same.
