Kotecha is a Jain family surname and, like many Jain families, members can belong to different Śvetāmbara communities. Sthanakwasi is a non-idolatry sub-sect within Śvetāmbara Jainism. So, some Kotekhas (Kotecha) may be Sthanakwasi, but not all Kotecha Jains are necessarily Sthanakwasi.
