Monks Vomit ritual
There is no standard Jain ritual in which monks routinely vomit as a practice. Jain monastic discipline focuses on ahimsa (non-violence), self-control, and strict vows about food, conduct, and separation from sensual pleasures. Vomiting is not part of the canonical monastic code (and would not be taught as a spiritual practice in Digambar or Śvetāmbar sources).
If you’ve heard a specific term or scene (for example, a ritual from a particular local tradition or a non-canonical text), please share more details or the exact words, and I can clarify what that reference means within Jain Dharma or explain why it is not part of mainstream Jain practice.
