On the 4th day of the Daslakshan Parva (Dash Lakshan Parva), the customary mantra chanted is a jaimala that venerates all ten Tirthankar virtues. The text used is:

Om hreem Uttam Kshama Mardav Arjav Satya Shauch Samyam Tap Tyag Akinchanya Brahmacharya dashlakshan dharmebhyo namah

• Meaning (arth): This mantra offers salutations to the supreme forms of the ten virtues — forgiveness, humility, straightforwardness, purity, truth, self-restraint, austerity, renunciation, non-attachment, and celibacy. It aligns with the Day-4 focus on Uttam Shaucha (supreme purity/contentment) and the full set of ten Lakshanas.

Note:

• In Digambar tradition, Day 4 is Uttam Shaucha, but the jaimala above honors all ten virtues collectively. Some recitations emphasize the individual virtue of that day, while the full ten-virtue verse is commonly recited as part of the Dashlakshan Puja. Different temples may have slight variations in wording, but the essence remains the same.
