In Jainism, the Gunavratas are supplementary vows taken by lay followers (śrāvakas) to strengthen and support the five main vows (Anuvratas). There are three Gunavratas. Here are their names with meanings:

- Meaning: Vow of avoiding purposeless or harmful activities. This includes refraining from actions that are unnecessary and may cause violence or harm to living beings.

These three Gunavratas help lay Jains live a life of greater discipline and support the core vows of non-violence, truth, non-stealing, chastity, and non-possessiveness.
