In Jainism, Gautamswami (also known as Indrabhuti Gautam) was the chief disciple (Ganadhara) of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara. The "Diksha Tithi" refers to the auspicious day when Gautamswami renounced worldly life and accepted initiation as a Jain monk under Lord Mahavira.
