• Rama (known as Padma) is portrayed as a virtuous, Jain-like prince who later renounces the world and becomes a monk, ultimately attaining moksha.
• Lakshmana is the one who kills Ravana in the Jain Ramayana, in keeping with Jain ideas about non-violence and karma where a liberated soul or a future Tirthankara does not cause violence.

There are slight differences between Digambar and Śvetambar renditions in details or emphasis, but the core idea—Padma’s renunciation and Lakṣmaṇa killing Ravana—occurs across Jain versions.
