• In the Shwetambar Paryushan (8 days): the seventh day is simply the 7th day of the festival; there isn’t a distinct traditional name for it. The days are overall focused on Kalpa-sutra reading, reflection, fasting, and inner purification, with Samvatsari on the 8th day being the day of forgiveness. • In the Digambar Das Lakshana Parva (10 days): the seventh day is Tapa (austerity). This is one of the ten pointed virtues observed during Paryushan in that tradition. You can read more here .
