Sammed Shikarji is a jainism pilgimage site in Girdh District, Jharkhand. It is one of the holiest site of Jainism. Venerable peak is the meaning of Shikarji as it is the place where twenty out of twenty-four Tirthankar attained moksh. It lies on NH-2, the Delhi-Kolkata highway in a section called the Grand Trunk road Shikharji height is to 4,480 feet (1,370 m) making it the highest mountain range in the state of Jharkhand.
