How Aadeshwar Dada became our first Tirthankar ?

Aadeshwar Dada is our first Tirthankar we all know this, but do we all know how he became our first Tirthankar?

Let us know this here:

Aadinath dada was born ninth day of the dark half of the month of Chaitra krishna navmi millions of years ago,to king Nabhi rai and mother Queen Marudevi in Ayodhya also called Vinita. He was named Rishabh by his parents. He was the spiritual successor of Sampratti Bhagwan, the Tirthankar of last time cycle. In jain tradition, Tirthankar's mother recive 14 auspecious dreams, Mata Marudevi also had this all 14 dreams before the birth of Aadinath Dada. Later, Rishabhdev got married and had two wives named Sunanda and Sumangala. Sumangala gave birth to 99 sons including Bharat Chakravati and one daugther Brahmini.Sunanda was mother of Bahubali and Sundari. Its been believed that Rishabhanatha taught his daughters Brahmi and Sundari, Brahmin script and the science of numbers. The Panavana Sutra and also list many other writing scripts known to the ancient Jain tradition, of which the Brahmi script named after Rishabha's daughter tops the list. I'ts been belived his eldest son Bharat ruled ancient India but was not attracted to any wealth or vices.

One day, in Aadinath's court lord Indra had organised a  folk dance celebration, in which Nilanjana, one of the dancers, is said to have died in midst of the series of vigorous dance movements. The sudden death of Nilanjana is said to have reminded Rishabhanatha of the world's transitory nature, triggering him to renounce his kingdom, family and material wealth. He than distributed his kingdom amongst his 100 sons. He than become a monk in Siddharta-garden, in the outskirts of Ayodhya, under Ashoka tree ninth day of Chaitrya Krishna.

Aadinath Dada have done fastb of 13 months and at the end of the fast, he was offered sugarcane juice in 108 pots by his great grandson Shreyansa. And this event is celebrated as Askaya Tirthiya, since than every year we celebrate this event every year on the third day of the bright fortnight of the month Vaishaya. This is also known as Akhatrij. Every year many of shravaks do tap called as Varsi tap and they break their fast on this day by having sugarcane juice.

Aadinatha recevied Keval gyan under Banyan tree on 11th day of falgun krishna. After this he tried to spread jainism principles within people and people started following him. Later Aadinath dada received Nirvan Kalyanak on Ashtapad, its been belived he fasted for millions of years and recieved Nirvan kalyanak and moksh. Later,t Indra came with his fellow gods from the heavens after that to cremate his body with sandalwood, camphor, butter and other fire offerings.

This is how Aadinath dada became a tirthankar from being a king,by just the death of dancer Nilanjana, came to know that life is a complete cycle of death and rebirth, and we human beings should have control over our emotions.
