In the tranquil village of Mundava, situated near the city of Sojat, an ancient pilgrimage site unfolds, housing an exquisite idol of nearly 32 cm in height, portraying Bhagawan Mundavara Parshwanath in the Padmasana posture.
Historical Narrative: The roots of Mundava village's sacred prominence delve into the profound history of Bhagawan Parshwanath. Legend has it that a devout Shravaka, bound by a solemn vow to bow respectfully to God before partaking in meals, embarked on a pilgrimage to a village five miles away. Influenced by his unwavering devotion, the presiding deity of that village appeared in his dream. The deity directed the Shravaka to a specific location outside the village, where, with a basket full of barley grains left overnight, a miraculous event transpired. The barley grains transformed into gold. Utilizing this divine wealth, the devotee constructed a magnificent temple in Mundava, thereby giving rise to this sacred pilgrimage site.
