Historical Enchantment: Many centuries ago, Falodi witnessed a serendipitous event that would shape its destiny. Paras Shreshti, an esteemed resident, undertook a vow to bow his head to God before partaking in meals. Guided by his unwavering fidelity, he embarked on a journey to a temple situated five miles away. In a dream, the presiding deity of this distant temple revealed to him the location of a sacred idol under a specific tree outside Falodi. Further instructions were given: go to the designated spot with a basket brimming with barley grains and leave it overnight. Miraculously, the barley grains transformed into gold, a sign from the divine. With this golden bounty, Paras Shreshti initiated the construction of a splendid temple.
Temple's Miracle and Miraculous Presiding Deity: This temple, known for its miracles, holds a unique account of divine intervention. The presiding deity, impressed by Paras Shreshti's dedication, transformed rice Swastik into golden ones, providing the necessary funds for temple construction. Yet, when the villagers discovered this miracle, the divine transformation ceased. Undeterred, the Jain sangh took charge, completing the temple's construction. In the year V.S. 1204, Shri Munichandrasuriji ceremoniously installed the idol of Bhagwan Parshwanath.
Divine Protection and Renovation: The temple faced adversity during an invasion by Shahbuddin and his army. However, divine intervention thwarted further harm, compelling the Sultan to order the cessation of damage. In V.S. 1552, Hemraj, the son of Sanghpati Shivraj, undertook the renovation of this venerable temple, ensuring its preservation for generations to come.
